As a
writer and a consultant who is regularly working on a one-to-one
basis with people, I am able to project the aims and positive aspects
of my business fluently, both vocally and in a written format. Because
the aim of feng shui is to help people move on and change their
current reality, my manner is caring and empathetic. In fact I often
act as a counsellor or life coach with my clients working on their
concerns and needs.
Television
I would
be interested in doing more television work, appearing as an expert
on related ‘housebuster’-type programmes or being interviewed
for my feng shui opinions on chat shows. I have already test-filmed
for a Channel 5 programme and a done a film interview for Talkback
Productions. I have also been approached to appear on Richard and
Judy’s show in the future.
Radio
promotion
I would
like to do more radio promotional work in my role as a consultant
for companies that would benefit from using my professional skills
to market their products.
In my
capacity as a decluttering consultant I recently fronted a radio
promotional campaign for Lexus PR for one of their clients who sells
used goods on the high street. I did 10 interviews over one day
promoting the benefits of decluttering and how money could be made
selling the unwanted goods through a second-hand retailer.
I am
also regularly interviewed on radio to market my books as they are
published. I have given interviews to Radio Bristol, Radio Lancashire,
Radio York and Radio Jersey to name but a few. Recently I appeared
as an expert on a programme relating to the home on LBC and a programme
on Talksport called the Unexplained to discuss the merits of feng
shui.
Magazines
Different
magazines, such as Natural Health, Zest, Woman and Home and Health
and Fitness, have either interviewed me or published text extracted
from my books. I have written features on health, complementary
health, reiki and feng shui. I would be interested in being a regular
contributing expert in a health or homes magazine or writing a series
of features.
Newspapers
I have
often given interviews or offered expert opinion for newspapers
such as the Daily Telegraph, Daily Express The Sun and The Guardian.
My book Crystal Energy was recently extracted weekly in the Daily
Express for five weeks. I would be interested in writing a regular
column connected to feng shui or a related subject or supplying
a series of informative articles. |
