I
have a varied career nowadays from my base in Brighton.
I write books on feng shui and complementary health, do feng shui
and decluttering consultations, workshops and treat people with
reiki healing. Previously I worked in the publishing industry as
a book editor but after several years and many interesting book
projects later, I decided I needed to do something more fulfilling
with my life. This set me off on the wonderful path of feng shui. |

In 1997 I had a feng shui consultation
on my flat with Harrison Kyng of the Shen Dao Institute and decided
to join his next course the following year. I qualified as a consultant
in 1998 and since then I have done many consultations on homes and
offices, and it has been wonderful setting my clients off on their
own transformational path. In 2000 I trained as a reiki healer,
qualifying in reiki I and reiki II in the December.
Reiki
has a habit of unlocking hidden potential, and shortly after doing
reiki II I was asked by publishing contacts to write my first complementary
health book, An introduction to reiki (Collins and Brown
2000). I continued writing and now consider myself an established
author with my later book, Clearing the clutter, 100
ways to energize your life (Cico |

Books 2001) becoming an international bestseller and selling over
150,000 copies worldwide. My sixth book, Natural highs for body
and soul, was published in January 2005, my seventh book, Crystal
Energy, published in March 2005 and my eighth, Instant
Feng Shui for the Home, a Kit, published in January 2007.
Many people have asked me to teach them the benefits
of feng shui, decluttering and reiki, so I also run workshops on
these subjects, which are open to everyone. I am also involved with
the media, and am regularly contacted for quotes by journalists,
do some radio broadcasting and have test-filmed for TV production
companies.
My
life has changed phenomenally since I trained as a feng shui consultant
and reiki practitioner, and I get immense enjoyment passing on the
skills I have learnt. Writing is a major part of my life and I feel
quite humble reading some of the emails I receive from people letting
me know how my books are helping them to realise their true potential
and follow their dreams. |
